The Light of…… Life

John 8:12 

"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Around 4500 years ago, the Spirit of the Almighty God went out across the hearts of men until resting on that fore-ordained, predestinated prophet by the name of Moses. Under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, Moses spoke to the tribes of the children of Israel, instructing them to take a simple weed and apply the blood of a lamb over and beside the doorway of their homes as a token which would be recognized and act as a protection as the death angel was to pass through the Land of Goshen and all of Egypt that night. All that did not hear nor follow That Voice, succumbed to the plague and the first born of all those not protected by That Token, fell to their death. 

We can look at this account and see that the Message that came through the ministry of Moses was the Light of that day and that those outside of That Light failed to have Life. The Light was the Life. 

An earlier instance the Lord spoke through a messenger was during the time of Noah. Noah preached his Message for 120 years, urging people to hear and listen to the simple Word. What was it that That Voice spoke in those days? What was the Light the people had to walk and believe in order to have Life? All that lived on the earth was going to be destroyed. The only action one had to follow was to get into the Ark. As we read through the account, once again we can see that most failed to see That Light and fell to the loss of their lives.
